Twitter and CUNY Blackboard are different in many ways. Twitter is more of a way to express your thoughts with your creativity. Each tweet limits the number of words you can type. That is why you have to submit multiple tweets to finish typing your thoughts. However, on Blackboard, there is no given character limit. Twitter discussions are simple, while Blackboard discussions are more complex. Twitter is an online conversation and people would private message each other to give their opinions. Blackboard is more formal and more technological features. It has more refined and educated answers. Blackboard you could create a thread and just discuss one topic and the discussion is more organized. Overall, Blackboard is a better tool to have discussions.
